UDACITY COFFEE SHOP
Udacity is an online learning platform used by countless users around the world. Though Udacity has lots of features, we want to create more options for community. One challenge our users have is restricted ability for interaction. Udacity students need a space to collaborate, so we’ve come up with the Udacity coffee shop!
The coffee shop is space for Udacity students to work together and share space that is both academic and communal, all around their favorite study beverages.

The Udacity Coffee Shop is a virtual space for Udacity students to connect outside the classroom.

To foster community between students for my first full length UX case study, I designed an app for users to gather for work along with their favorite beverages. With ability to order drinks, connect with their members and get rewards that benefit students inside and outside of the classroom, the Udacity Coffee Shop is a great resource for students.

Iteration 1
Iteration 2
2 major features define the Udacity Coffee Shop app.
To uphold WCAG design standards, the colors chosen for this app are dynamic, contrasting and visible to a large range of users. Udacity students are from all walks of life, so it matters that this application is accessible to all of them.

There are several food delivery apps on the market, so reinventing the wheel would not be a good idea. Users like apps that are intuitive and familiar, so we used a layout similar to DoorDash for the Udacity Coffee Shop app.
In interviewing ideal users about their coffee consumption, all users said that they wished there were more customization options. To meet users' needs, I decided to add several beverage customization options so users can get the drink they really want.

Through usability studies, we were able to get feedback on the Udacity Coffee Shop App from potential users.
"This is a very solid attempt for a new designer."
"The drink customization is pretty cool, I wish more apps had it."
"Straightfoward and functions well."
"I love the green and gray."
